This stunning independent villa comes with its own swimming pool and enjoys beautiful panoramas of the Valdichiana hills. It is only a short distance from the picturesque town of Cortona and it is an ideal place where to spend a relaxing holiday and to discover Tuscany and Umbria.

  • The villa is in Leopoldina style, the result of a meticulous restoration that has maintained its original Tuscan character, along with a mixture of traditional and modern styles. It is part of a 1 ½ hectares complex, once an old Tuscan farm.

    Measuring 150 sqm, Villa Isabella is laid out on 2 levels.

    On the ground floor, the spacious living room is joined by the dining room, kitchen as well as 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower.

    Each room on this floor has a French window that opens on to the beautiful garden.  The kitchen and the dining room open directly onto the patio, which is furnished with table and chairs in wrought iron.

    On the first floor, another bedroom with an en-suite bathroom can also be found.

    The well-appointed interiors in the tones of cream and beige, include elegant curtains and original paintings.

  • The villa is a completely independent complex; with a garden of around 3000 sqm, surrounded by a hedge and a swimming pool for the exclusive use of the villa guests.

    The swimming pool measures 10m x 5m, with a max. depth of 1.2m. Deckchairs and sun loungers come with the villa as does the patio furniture, complete with sofas and armchair a well as a beautiful wrought iron table. The patio is an ideal spot for dinners, aperitifs and to shelter from the sun.

  • The villa is a few kilometres from the locale of Fratta, where there is a bakery, a small supermarket, a butcher, a newsagent and a take-away pizzeria. For 2 weeks during the month of June there is also a ‘pasta food fair’, one of the most famous in the Valdichiana valley.

    The town of Camucia is less than 4 km away. Here one can find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pizzerias, a train station, ATMs, cafes and petrol stations.

    3 km from Camucia is the picturesque town of Cortona, made famous by the movie ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’. Perched on a hill overlooking the Valdichiana valley, this beautiful medieval town is rich in history and art, but also excellent restaurants, cafes and ice-cream parlors.

    Distances by car: Montepulciano 30 km, Pienza 40 km, Siena 60 km, Castiglion Fiorentino 20 km, Lucignano 25 km, Passignano sul Trasimeno 25 km, Corciano 40 km

    By train: Roma 2h30, Florence 1h10, Assisi 1h10, Orvieto 40 min, Arezzo 25 min, Perugia 40 min

    A1 Motorway exit: Valdichiana- Bettolle

    Airports: Florence 1h30 by car; Rome 2h; Pisa, about 2h20.

    Closest railway station: Camucia-Cortona [for Florence and Rome].

  • Minimum stay: 1 week – Check in: from 4.00pm – Check out: by 9.30am

    Arrival day: during high season, stays are from Saturday to Saturday only. Stays can begin on a different day during low season.

    Rate includes: weekly linen change, utilities, wi-fi, pool and garden maintenance, deckchairs and parasols, final cleaning.

    Extra costs: heating, if guests turn radiators on; a refundable deposit of € 500,00 for incidental damages, to be paid upon arrival.

    Taxes: mandatory tourist tax, to be paid in cash at check in. The tourist tax is €6 per person for the first week (except for children under 12 years of age).
