Eurochocolate is, without doubt, the most important event dedicated to chocolate in Umbria, if not in Italy. It is held annually in October in Perugia. The first edition took place in 1994 and since then it has only grown in both size and popularity.
Dedicated to the tradition of both Italian and international chocolate-making, each year the event gathers producers, chefs and important experts from all over the world.
Many cultural events and shows also take place alongside the main festival, which is free to attend.
How to get there: by train, just stop at Perugia railway station, from which you can take a shuttle bus, by car exit at Orte to merge onto the E45 motorway towards Perugia.
