Surrounded by an apple orchard, this 2000 sqm estate comprises of a traditional Tuscan stone villa and an annex, joined by a swimming pool with patio. Secluded and serene, Casale Meleto is ideal for those seeking complete relax as well as easy access to Tuscany’s world-famous attractions.

  • The property’s main building is a traditional stone villa, in Leopoldina style. This charming villa is full of character and laid out on 2 levels.

    On the ground floor, 2 living rooms are joined by a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The villa is perfect for families, as one living room is a convivial space where to chat and relax next to the fireplace, the other one is great for movie nights, with a TV and DVD player.

    17 steps lead to the first floor, where the 3 double bedrooms are located. Here 2 bathrooms can also be found, one of which is ensuite.

    The 50 sqm annex, a few metres from the main villa, is a self-contained apartment with its own private entrance. It consists of a well-appointed living room with a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with cot and a bathroom with shower. The annex has been recently renovated and comes with all modern comforts and appliances (dishwasher, fridge, oven).

  • Peaceful and secluded, Casale Meleto offers plenty of places where to relax in the beautiful garden, with a large swimming pool, paved solarium and outdoor dining area. Fruit trees and a vegetable garden can also be found at the property. The estate is entirely fenced (complete with an electric gate), ideal for families with children and pets. Free parking is available on site for 3 cars.

  • LCD TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, oven, cooker/stove, fridge and freezer, American-style coffee maker, Moka pot, toaster, kettle, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, cot and highchair. Free parking on site for 3 cars.

  • The town of Camucia is less than 6 km away. Here one can find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pizzerias, a train station, ATMs, cafes and petrol stations.

    3 km from Camucia is the picturesque town of Cortona, made famous by the movie ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’. Perched on a hill overlooking the Valdichiana valley, this beautiful medieval town is rich in history and art, but also excellent restaurants, cafes and ice-cream parlors.

    In Terontola, 10 km from Casale Meleto, there are a small supermarket, ATMs, petrol stations, the post office and a train station (Terontola-Cortona). The Together in Tuscany offices can also be found here.

  • Minimum stay: 1 week – Check in: from 4.00pm – Check out: by 9.30am

    Arrival day: during high season, stays are from Saturday to Saturday only. Stays can begin on a different day during low season.

    Rate includes: weekly linen change, utilities, wi-fi, firewood, pool and garden maintenance, deckchairs and beach umbrellas, final cleaning.

    Extra costs: heating, if guests turn radiators on; a refundable deposit of € 300,00 for incidental damages, to be paid by credit/debit card upon arrival.

    Taxes: mandatory tourist tax, to be paid in cash at check in. The tourist tax is €6 per person for the first week (except for children under 12 years of age).
